Clan Brightshield |

Welcome to Karak Grim of the Clan Brightshield, I am Prince Thorin Brightshield, the youngest of Durin Brightshield and his Heir. What? Oh, don't worry about it even I am not sure how I am the Heir. We are pragmatic clan, some how I have convinced my father that I am the best dwarf for the job. I don't understand it but my fathers beard is very long, he must see something that I do not. With in our hold you will find our forces that defend out newly reoccupied hold. We have not been here very long have only rediscovered the long lost hold of our clan with in the last ten years. There were bloody battle fought in these tunnels not that long ago when we reclaimed the hold from goblins that lived here. I am still trying to piece together what cause this hold to be abandon. It is a very small hold, more of a outpost by dwarfen ways of thinking. The Veins of Iron, gold and silver are plentiful and luckly the Goblins are to stupid to figure out what a ore vein is anyway. Anyway look around if you like it clean now just not a lot of stuff or dwarfs her right now. Karak Grim is south of Karak Ungor, the goblins and Orc still attack here. However, we survive well enough. I guess part of the reason that I am the heir is because I managed to get a group of heavily involved Ogre mercenaries to live in the valley closes to here. I rather not think what happens to the green skins after the ogres kill them. The Steelkeepers are a rather crude by dwarf standards however, they are quite advanced for Orges. It might be this reason why the Clan seem to need a new place to stay as the mountains here as they are far from their native lands.
